Hello all members!
It's so fun to see that so many have become members of the network and that you come from so many different parts of the world! It gives us good conditions to be able to share each other's knowledge and experience and hopefully create contacts for cooperation across national borders. At the time of writing, we have 27 members from the following countries:
- Sweden
- Norway
- The Netherlands
- USA
- Canada
- Mexico
- Hungary
- Switzerland
- UK
- Italy
- Spain
- Australia
- France
This is really exciting and it will be so much fun to find out more about you and what the situation looks like for you in your home countries when it comes to preserving the working arctic dog.
Those of you who have been on the website have probably seen that some pages have plenty of articles and material, while others are more empty. Those of us who worked on the website have posted as much information as we got hold of, but much remains to be shared. It is our call to you members to share with you articles, research and material that you think can contribute to the website and that can provide more knowledge about our breeds and how we can manage them for the future.
We are a couple of people who administer the website and therefore some things can take a little time. We also learn along the way which features are practical and which are not. After the first wave of membership applications subsides, we will begin to initiate discussions and activities that we think may interest you as well. Feel free to start discussing on your own in this facebook group and raise issues that are important to you to talk about. Of course, we maintain a pleasant conversation atmosphere!
Have a good time and see you soon!
Sincerely, the admin group
