Abakan kennel (US) - breeding working Samoyeds for over 50 years

"Jan. 1978. Priest Lake (ID) Pacific Coast Championships. (USA) We were the only Samoyeds entered in any of the classes. 3-dog class, 36 teams. We finished 12th in the 2-day event. At lead: Belaya Buccaneer(by Ch. Kondako's Sun Dancer x Ch. Belaya Taiga Lily, bred by Carole Chittum). Right at wheel: Abakan Maggie Whitehair(by Ch. Valadimir of Elmfield x Mischa of Baymar). Left at wheel: Abakan Rosalinda de Llana(by Belaya Buccaneer x Mischa of Baymar). These dogs had never run on snow, had never trained with another team, had never even seen another team.
