A.E. Nordenskiöld, The voyage of the Vega around Asia and Europe 1881

Nordenskiöld was an early Swedish explorer who visited Siberia and described the Samoyed and Ostjak peoples. He mentions the dogs in certain places and also brought some specimens of them home to Stockholm. Below is a link to his descriptions in digital edition.
