Breeds

Our polar breeds can be divided into two groups, the heavier freight dogs (Greenland dog and Alaskan Malamute) and the smaller lighter and faster Siberian dogs (Samoyed dog, Siberian Husky and Yakutian Laika). In the Siberian group, the Husky stands out as they are exceptionally fast runners.

The network takes care of our polar and subpolar breeds and varieties. If your breed is not in the network today and you feel that you want to become the breed's ambassador and coordinate the information about your breed, contact the network and we will find a good form of cooperation.

Visit each breed's subpages for more information about them.

On the breed pages, you can read more specifically about each breed and what problems they face.
